Main Street Snapshot, circa 1901

In honor of Small Business Saturday, this amazing photograph captures some of Cuba City's businesses and business owners on the west side of Main Street, circa 1901.

The central building is currently home to the Junque Stops Here. At the time of this photograph, Dr. T. L. Edwards' doctor's office occupied the left side of the structure and the Fair Store, likely owned by George Longendyke, occupied the section on the right.

The adjacent building on the right is W. H. Pascoe's Hardware Store (today, the northern Junque Stops Here building).

The building to the left is Henry Meloy's cafe and bakery (today, Nick's Cafe).
