1882 Wisconsin State Gazetteer and Business Directory: Names businesses, businesspeople, and occupations by city.
- 1891-1892 Wisconsin State Gazetteer and Business Directory: Links to the volume containing the Cuba City entry, but other volumes have also been digitized.
- 1906 Complete Year Book of Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa Lead and Zinc Mines: Directory of area mines, as well as some photographs and advertisements from Cuba City and other mining communities.
- 1924 Cuba City Telephone Directory: Lists businesses and residences with phone numbers, as well as local advertisements.

- 1881 History of Grant County, Wisconsin: By C. W. Butterfield. Includes a section on Cuba City, St. Rose Station, Elmo Station, and Georgetown.
- 1881 History of Lafayette County, Wisconsin: Includes sections on Meeker's Grove and Benton and Elk Grove Townships.
1900 History of Grant County, Wisconsin: By Castello N. Holford. Includes a chapter on Smelser Township, which contains sections on Cuba City, St. Rose, Elmo, and Georgetown.

- 1900 Cuba City Sanborn-Perris Fire Insurance Map: Detailed map of Cuba City's business district and surrounding residential areas.
- 1903 Map of Grant County, Wisconsin: Little detail is available for Cuba City itself, but land ownership in surrounding rural areas is recorded.
- 1906 Report on the Lead and Zinc Deposits of Wisconsin: Locations of mines and information about land ownership. Maps are available for Cuba City, Meekers Grove, Elk Grove, and several other areas.

Newspapers.com: Search and access several years of the Cuba City News-Herald between 1894-1924. Many other local newspapers from Grant and Lafayette Counties are also available. Database is free for Wisconsin residents through the Badgerlink website.

- Wisconsin Historic Aerial Image Finder: Access aerial photographs from 1937-1941.
- Wisconsin Historical Society: Several photographs of the Cuba City area, including the invaluable Architecture and History Inventory, which contains images and information about many local buildings from the 1970s-80s.
