Model Pupils at Model School

Thank you to Jan Selleck for sharing this photo of the interior of Model School, which was located at the corner of Model and Center Roads (the building still stands today! ).

From Jan: This is the Model School, just southwest of Cuba City, WI (Grant County). Teacher is Beth Duncan from Hazel Green. This was my mother's first teaching post, as she had just graduated from Platteville with her two-year teaching certificate. Year is 1938. I cannot ID any of the children but would love to hear from anyone who can!
