Winter at the Rectory

A fresh dusting of snow had just fallen on Cuba City before this photo was taken of the St. Rose Catholic Rectory on North Madison Street. The Rev. James J. Maguire, St. Rose's second resident priest, stands on the impressive front porch. Father Maguire served the congregation from 1909-1924, and the rectory was completed early in his tenure. The Catholic Church is just visible beside the rectory.
