Workin' on the railroad
I'm not entirely sure what these gentlemen are working at along the railroad tracks, but it seems a fitting picture to share on Labor Day weekend. Behind them would have been the Cuba City Lumber Yard, operated by William Hoskins & Co. and located where Kwik Trip is today. Across Main Street, the railroad depot is visible, as well as a warehouse and creamery behind it. The photograph was taken before 1907.
