Hats off to Cuba City
This image was made for National Hat Day! These lovely ladies are standing beside the First National Bank (later Cuba City State Bank) on the corner of Clay and Main Streets. A sign for Dr. Donnell, Cuba City physician from roughly 1907-1939, is visible above their heads.
The young women remain unidentified, but the photograph belonged to Cuba City resident Lillian Heitkamp Kirk. Thank you to Lillian's granddaughter, Rachel, for allowing its use here!
