Donohoo, Splinter, & Co. tobacco

Thank you to Doug Olson for sharing this tobacco label from Donohoo, Splinter & Co. in Cuba City.


Located in the building now housing Antiques & Salvage, Donohoo, Splinter, & Co. formed sometime after 1895 and operated as a general store until 1910.



Uncle Daniel tobacco was made by the Scotten Dillon Company in Detroit.

Behind Kellner Hardware, the old St. Rose church built by Rev. Samuel Mazzuchelli is visible. It was moved here from its original location by the St. Rose cemetery, north of Cuba City.
