"A Hot Time in the Old Town" -- Homecoming, 1931

In honor of Cuba City's homecoming this week, an article about an earlier CCHS homecoming celebration in November 1931.

Some highlights:

Cuba City's colors were red and white at this time.

The night before the football game, students paraded up and down Main Street, cheering and singing in what they called a "snake dance." The festivities culminated in a bonfire at the school's athletic field.
